Do These Stamps Have Any Value?

I'm brand new to the forum. My mother collected the stamps shown below. I'm wondering if they have any value. Thanks for any advice!

Minimal value, but a great start to Stamp Collecting. (I really like the SON, Socked-on-the Nose, cancellations on those blocks.)

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ

The monetary value is low.
However, you have a good variety to start a collection.
Use the stamps to learn more about the countries and the topics on each stamp. You'll find yourself going down rabbit holes and enjoying your time immensely.

I do advise that you separate the stamps from the backing paper (the envelopes that they were on). Most paper is acidic and will cause a yellowish discoloration of the stamps over time.

Soak them in some warm water and leave them for a couple of hours. Then place them on a towel to let them dry.

As others have said, they aren't particularly rare or valuable stamps but they are pretty! Love that Rockhopper penguin! He's a cutie. I want to get one of those for my arctic theme collection.
