I've only been collecting for a couple of months. I'm a younger person but have never been a part of forums, so there may be a learning curve. I live in California. I'm a topical collector. I've been enjoying watching Exploring Stamps on youtube. I want to connect with other enthusiasts and learn more about the hobby

LadyGrace, Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ |

My main/favorite collections are the space race, stamps on stamps, or anything post-related, Abraham Lincoln, and dinosaurs. I have small floral, horse, and bird collections. I want to start collecting hippos, the arctic, Godzilla, chickens, and beavers. Haven't started on those yet though. |

Thank you, I have to know now, how many Godzilla stamps have been issued? I'll be looking to add at least one now! |

I've seen a handful of Godzilla stamps. There are a couple I want particularly but I'm a poor philatelist so I have to wait. |

I have a huge want list, Truth be told I feel guilty spending more then 50$ a month, every couple of months Not that it breaks the bank, I just have other investments I know I could use it on And I'm happy going threw what I have |

Have you considered buying a big lot of kiloware? Many available online on sales sites .. or straight from certain dealers. It's a relatively inexpensive way to get a bunch of stamps. |

This is my first time hearing the term kiloware. I've gotten some lots of 100-300 but never anything by weight. Thanks for the suggestion! |

I have a huge want list too! I'm very ignorant about it all though. I'm just starting to see how many amazing stamps are out there. Trying to be patient and take it slow. Taking some joy in learning about what I have already. I really like getting mixed packs though.. sorting is so fun! |

Welcome to the forum. I am also fairly new here, and from California as well. I'm finding everyone is very helpful here. I never once thought of a Godzilla topical collection, but now I must start collecting. Probably my favorite movie star |
