Here's a couple modern covers I got from a friend:

Check out the Post-It note that apparently made the trip to Florida via Canada Post (Initialed by "JJ" Tillard himself!). I'm not sure of the english translation, but something to do with troubles in France (?).

Anybody have some other examples?

My French wife says it says something like "Because of the strike in France, thank you for getting this letter to the USA.'
