Not sure if this is #6 Double transfer or not. Sorry for scan quality scanning at 600dpi as high as my scanner goes and cropping in microsoft photo - still pretty poor scan. Getting a new machine soon, as this printer won't print so it is time for a new and better one. Thans for any input.

We would need a better scan, just of the stamp, to tell for sure. It looks just like muddled, maybe wet print, but not a double transfer, in my opinion.

Your scanner may have a preview mode to show item on scanner deck, then outline area to be scanned. That will only scan item on scan bed and will be a better image. Sorry I cant help with your stamp. Almost looks like a double impression or kiss print.

Unfortunately no. It also appears to be lower than 600dpi, so something isn't working correctly in your scanning program.

What scanner are you using?
Suggestion,
Blu tak a Black Kraft paper, to the lid of your scanner,
It highlights the stamp and the teeth.

Opinion
Not a double transfer, watery ink.
or, (and I cannot recall the terminology) ink shift during printing.

Blu tak...

Rod, you may find this hard to believe, but Blu Tak is not in the states!

Only reason I know what you are talking about is I lived in the UK for 3 years and have a British wife.

It is very handy and I have no clue why it isn't sold here.

Perhaps some silly rule against it from California as it probably causes cancer in cockroaches or something.

You lot over the pond, may have it as "Elmer's Poster Tack"
see names with wiki

I used it heaps as a youngster, sticking posters in rental properties.
