West Russia Army Stamps
Latvia
Avaloff-Bermondt Issue
Unissued

Offer a close up of 1 stamp, and I'll tell you if it is a forgery, or not.
(76% of items are forgeries)

I have around 50 stamps, of varying colours and values, including overprints (Unity and Freedom)
100% forgeries

Stanley Gibbons 1958 Edition.

While the AP March 2011 article seems to be able to definitively determine if a particular stamp is genuine or a forgery, there were several letters to the editor stating that the source the author used was updated and what is genuine and what is a forgery are reversed.

I am of the opinion that it is not possible to determine genuine from forgery based on current knowledge. However, I am happy to be corrected.

Gizzmo4222 - nice sheet! I have never seen one before.

There are clear differences between the two stamps. Left, wavy line above "60"; right, straight line above "60". Also differences in number of vertical dots left and right of eagle. But I can't tell which is which. What reference(s) are you using?

Thanks for all the information. I have a total of 8 sheets of 100 each
all gummed with a few marginal defects. I will assume they are the forgeries based on info provided. I4ll offer then up on ebay at a later date as I'm sure someone can use them for reference material.
Thanks
