Just thought I'd share these, as they have got an unusual amount of stamps on them.
The first one was an envelope in which a book was posted to me, with stamps on both sides.
The second one is a piece of envelope with 12 x #2582 stamps overlapping each other which came in a job lot I purchased,

Nice mix of Indicia, and stamps.
I usually cut around all stamps and Indica,
and scan as 1 page, giving an idea of real time postal history.

Alas! it looks like one of those horrible desicated paper padded bags,
great for protection, but a horror story, trying to remove stamps etc.

Is overlapping stamps even legal? I can see putting cancelled stamps underneath and only one uncancelled on the top.

Not sure if it's legal or not …got amongst a job lot I purchased…however there are two Toronto rectangular postmarks on it.

If applied in the presence of a post office employee, overlapping is 100% legal in Canada.

I have 4 or 5 from the US also smothered in stamps. Not unusual to me but they pose a challenge. What to do with them?
