I used to collect German stamps, many years ago. I don't recognize this and searching I can't figure out what R.L.B. means. It has a value, but is it a stamp?

Can anyone help with an ID?

It appears to be a dues stamp for some Nazi party organization, but it doesn't appear on my sources' lists of acronyms.

I'm sure someone here can help.

Exactly, NSK! As always, now that you have identified it, it seems obvious.

Sorry, but I don't think that means Reichsluftschutzbund. The three letters are separated by points, that means they are three different words. The RLB of the Reichsluftschutzbund has no points.
But more important is the absence of the symbol of the RLB, the 8-pointed star.
I searched a bit in the internet, but I found nothing that could fit into "R.L.B.". So the question from pporro still has no answer, in my opinion.

What is with the 42 cancel on the Hindenburg stamp.?
R.L.B. could be the "Reichslandbund" an important agriculture organization from the 1930's (Hindenburg) which was adopted by the " National Socialists " ie Hitler).

The "42" is the year date on the duplex cancel. It is not uncommon to see the Hindenburg stamps used after the Hitler definitives were issued.

The small dues label covers the left portion of the cancellation. It was probably applied by someone looking to add value/interest to the business postcard...not understanding that it would not ordinarily be used in such a manner.

My German language skills are limited, but I see inconsistency in the use of periods and letters in acronyms, particularly where compound words are involved. Most acronyms do not use periods.

Example shown is from Reck and Schembra's Die Sonderpostaemter der Deutschen Reichspost 1933-1945.
