Most of the mounts I see are black/clear background, very thin plastic, and have a shiny/glossy surface. I purchased a collection on ebay (which I've since returned due to misleading description) where it used center-cut mounts made with a significantly thicker plastic than most mounts I've seen, with a clear background, and the display portion had an almost extruded plastic look to it (for lack of a better way of describing it). Like a textured plastic, so that the surface wasn't so shiny. For reference, it was Canadian stamps in a White Ace album.

I'd post a photo but I neglected to take one before returning it.

Any thoughts as to what brand of mounts this might be? Thanks for any insight.

Do you remember the time frame the collection covered, or how old it might have been? Knowing that might help someone in pinning down the mounts' origins.

It was Canadian stamps from 1988-1993, in a White Ace album, sold to me from a dealer in the Pacific NW. He had another volume for sale for 1998-1999 which appeared to be from the same collector (he mounted booklets on the back sides of the album pages).

Welcome bcarney
You could still get a photo by going to your ebay Purchase history. If not there, the transaction will be listed somewhere on your ebay pages.
