I'm Jacques and very glad to be a new member of this forum. I used to collect worldwide stamps , but stopped doing so in the 80s for lack of time. I recently retired after 41 years as a general practitioner, and, inherited a very nice Canada stamp collection. So, I'm back to my old hobby, with more passion. I collect exclusively Canadian stamps, and, am slowly selling anything non Canadian(UN, Hungary, Germany, Austria, and a other countries)
Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences. Russ
Thank you for your messages. As an answer to LadyGrace, I prefer old Canadian stamps: the Admiral issue stamps, Queen Victoria numeral and leaf issues, and, of course the expensive Jubilee issue, but, I very much like Centennial issue stamps.
