Comments on these sanitary fair stamps just found going through shoe box - do they appear genuine or are they forgeries. Thanks for feed back.

Suggestion:
You may wish to consider using "blu tak" to adhere a black sheet of kraft paper to the inside lid of your scanner.

The black background can have your images more appealing.

Not an expert but the leading book/catalog is

The sanitary fair stamps are cataloged in the Scott Specialised Catalog and the Scott catalog numbers are the WV numbers.
