Canada Picture Postage

I received a letter from the North Toronto Stamp Club announcing
the resumption of In-Person meetings starting March 24, 2022.
I like the fact that the envelope had a personalized Picture Postage stamp attached.
Too bad it wasn't cancelled.

I invite you to Google image 'Princess Carlyssa'. The match is my daughter back when she had her own little stamp. Now she's grown up and looks like a Barbie doll.

Too bad someone did not take the time to go to a post office with a nice or pictorial cancel and have them hand cancelled.

Thats what I have been doing when I receive uncancelled issues. Then I cut out a nice square to save cancel on piece with stamp. Since the back of the envelope has the UV barcode stamped on back showing date of use there is not much else you can do with them, unless you want to collect covers with uncancelled postage.
