Came in a remaindered out postal card box. Lots of nice other.
Previous collector seemed to like first day/last day of rate cancels.
Used three full sets to get these +29˘ stamp. Collector spent $17.20.
The 19˘ rate lasted from 3 Feb 91 to 31 Dec 94
These cards: First Day of Issue: 18 Oct. 94. Last day of rate 31 Dec. 94
Like that one set was from the Astrodome station. Astrodome closed in 2008, post office seems to be still operational.
Set properly used within the 2˝ month rate period $65. (These aren't)
Also last day for 29˘ rate.
I kind of like/don't like these. Seems a bit of waste.
In the overall value of the box, these didn't really cost me anything.
Just another bit of strangeness from the wonderful world of collecting.
