New To Stamp Collecting - Trying To Identify These Stamps' Values If Possible

My name is Chris and I'm from Florida in the US, I have just undertaken interest in the philatelic world, and I have just inherited a stamp collection, and I have noticed some possible rares and am looking to sell these, is it possible that any of these are worth anything? if so, which ones and how much could I be looking at?

No one is going to be able to tell you anything with tiny pics. You need to show a close and clear image of each stamp you would like an individual comment on. That being said it appears that the values marked on each plastic bag may be a prank of some sort? They all look like common stamps with crazy values assigned, and I am not aware of anybody that stores their rare stamps individually in Ziplock bags. Just being honest.

I am also now from Florida. Looking at the stamps they are worth very little, maybe 10c to 25c at the most for all of those shown. There is a remote possibility that they may be worth more dependent upon watermarks, perforations etc., all of which you would need to investigate at home as these can't be completed with the photos provided. This possibility is remote, it is more likely to win FL lottery today.

Those little ziploc bags are sooooo dangerous....someone sent me a stamp in one a while back and I accidentally cut the stamp in half with that seam!!!

OK I'll change the packaging, I also have many more from many different countries, I'll post pics of ones I thought were interesting when I get around to it.

So far, the baggies are worth more than the stamps they contain.

you might consider getting a beginners' book from the library or find a website or two that talks to beginning collectors .. .the info would help you

That's how I started, visited every 2nd hand bookstore in my area,
and bought every Philately book I could find,
I don't think there was any book more than $5

The advice you have been given is excellent. If you want to dive in inexpensively, go on ebay. One can find offerings of 4000 and more, similar, used US stamps (on paper or off) at a cost of 2 to 4 stamps per penny.

This should leave you in the deep end for many days (weeks?). I find that you can learn faster(including by mistake) when facing more monumental tasks.

Besides stampsmarter.com, a Mystic Catalog (free) will come in handy, along with tongs and a perforation gauge.

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic.
