This fragment of a cancel reads "...AP SHIMNI".
Haven't been able to ID that place of cancel in my sources. Can anyone help me, please?

As a wild guess, maybe a form of DAPSIMNI in Seoul?

From what I've read the Korean letter for "S" is often pronounced as "SH" before "I" although I may have this completely wrong!

I think your guess is a good one. Romanizations in Korean postal cancels seem to me to be inconsistent, so the sources I have aren't always helpful. Thank you!
