I never had a double transfer in my possession so I'm hoping this is one but...fingers crossed.

Bubbachismo, I believe that on this particular question we really need a very sharp picture, preferably a high definition scan

Hope these help, looks like maybe just wet now that I look closer. I'll try to get a scan tomorrow if these aren't good enough. Thank you

Wow! This looks like the person who was preparing the ink had no idea of what the correct viscosity should be.

Nice item, In my opinion.

common for these issues, just bad inking, production.
Good luck though.

Here's mine,
and I would have ditched possibly 10 others worse, as "duplicates" for swaps.
This is the best example to appear over my desk.

I am not a Mexico specialist, so I went to my Mexico collection to see if there are differences in print quality of individual intaglio printed stamps, sets, or time periods. It was my recollection that older engraved Mexican stamps are nicely designed and well executed.

My conclusion is that the 1944-50 engraved issues, particularly the low values, are not well executed. There are many variables involved in intaglio printing, so if my observation is correct does anyone at SCF know why?
