I recently purchased a SuperSafe Mint Sheet album for my small collection of mint sheets (panes). The album comes with a set of acetate pocket pages with clear outer layers and a textured black inner divider, so that they're effectively double-sided. My sheets look great in them.
I have a small concern that the pages don't lay perfectly flat: there's a sort of gentle wave to them, possibly due to the fact that the left and bottom edges, where they're sealed, are just slightly thicker than the opposite edges, which becomes more visible when the pages are stacked. So the sheets I have placed in them aren't held perfectly flat (and of course they flex when you turn the pages).
Is this a potential problem? And if so, what would you recommend?
I store my binders like a book, not flat. Do not over fill such that there is pressure on the pages. I keep an eye out for slip covers that will fit a binder or two which helps keep them up like a book. I also do this with stock books.
If there is no need, due to size, I would not run the pane down to the bottom of the page. That greatly reduces any concern about the waviness which is not a issue under normal circumstance.
