A rather large and overwhelming Stamp Collection has been passed to me. I'm seeking to sell my Collection, But to be honest, I have no clue on what I have, or what I'm doing.

Can you provide some pictures to show the scope of the collection. It is one binder or 200 binders, all Mexico, or all antarctic, just butterflies, pre-1950 stuff, only stamps, stamp on envelopes ( called "covers") and similar postal history. So detail is need to help direct your question.

That said as to general value, less than 10% of stamps carry most of the retail value of stamps as a whole. Catalogs set a minimum value per stamp to cover a stamp dealers time. But at 25 cents each, 1000 such stamps may sell for a couple of bucks.

So I and on behalf of all others say, we await your reply. Now you know why this: exists.

Usually a picture of the first 5 pages (per country) of a printed album (oldest first) of each/any country will suffice as a start (and only if populated with stamps).

A picture of all of the albums(books) would be a good start and then the stamps.
