Help With French Military Auxillary Marking

I have two cover fronts with this marking. I can read "Le major du commandment" but the other one with cantonment is not as clear.

Tried teasing it out, best I could do.
Hopefully it's found useful, but all I got is some way off guesses.
(It looks to me to end in RT'S,or PT'S)
