Talk about getting a good start on stamps. I have an elderly friend that
inherited a stamp collection. It was from her beau that passed before they were able to be married. He was in his late 60's. She kept it in storage. We were talking and I mentioned that I was going to start over with stamp collecting and BINGO, she said that I could have the collection that she had. She wasn't a stamp collector and had no idea what to do with it.
It's a collection of mint and used stamps. It was a two volume set, but half of it went to Ohio to his family and she was left the other half. It's a World Wide Collection.
This is going to be so fun! Here I was trying to figure out how I was going to be able swing purchasing a Statesman Album. I still will have to get the album, but I will be busy seeing what's in this older album.
