Hello Everyone, I wonder if this 3 cents # 65 it shows a double impression at the bottom, I'm not an expert like many people on this forum, the stamp is on a cover, but I just want to show the section where I think is a double impression, any help will be gladly appreciated, thank you. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

If you are talking about the 'doubling' of the 'S', that is part of the design. The '3's at top also have a similar design feature, as does the 'U' (lower left) I believe, but it is hard to see with this cancel. If you are talking about something else, I am not seeing it either. |

Not an expert, by any means, but it does look like a double-transfer at the bottom right of the stamp, below the S. |

Hello, thank you for the replies, and yes I agree that is a double transfer, I wasn't sure at first, so I decided to ask because I know at this Forum there are a lot of people with a lot more knowledge than me, thank you again. |

I have returned after a few hours to see what other responses have been left. Stupid question: Is this a completely different photo from the one that I saw a few hours ago????
I am looking at it now (on a different computer - I wonder if that's the difference) and can see the doubling at lower right. I simply didn't see any of that earlier. In my earlier post, I was referring to the ornaments inside the large letters/numbers, and thought you may be confusing those with some kind of doubling. It turns out, I was confusing the double transfer with..... well, I dunno. Nice catch!! |

Yes Mootermutt987 it's the same picture, it's just not easy to spot it at first, but at the bottom on the right side below the number 3 you can see the ornaments that look like a double transfer or either a little blurred, but I agree with comments from other members that is a double transfer, thanks for all the replies. |

Am not seeing the double print as well. I do not have a comparison stamp in play to help though. Have been warned about this terminology concerning kiss print, double print, transfer print, re-entries etc, for scotts based collectors. |
