Please help me identify this Egypt stamp with HMS ovpt.
I can't find it in Scott catalogue.

It won't be. It's been scrawled on to the stamp, for whatever reason, rather than overprinted.

Looks bogus to me , should read O.H.H.S. ,then later they had O.H.E.M.S. ......

It looks like someone was either defrauding someone or filling a gap in an album, but was thinking of Indian official overprints. The person who did it even got that wrong.

The stamp appears to be Sc#39 Type A15 1879
There were no overprinted Official stamps until 1907
(although the CAIRO postmark seems to indicate 1913?)
