Hi mean the 6 digit numbers (look the high of the last black number with the perforation using the middle perf. line to start... it vary from 3 perf. to 7-8 perf.

the six digit number is generally high with the blue # 2, lower with the blue # 1 and
more lower without blue #.

I also found that the high of blue number hare diff. the middle of "1" is center with the horizontal perf. line and the "2" is a little bit lower

Thank you for the microscope info, sounds good!

And also your English is very good. Better than mine at some times!

Thanks for the explanation regarding the perforation hole distances and how the control numbers (serial numbers, KN (Swedish) numbers) occur. That is a thing I have not noticed myself. I had my head all full of the numbers and their patterns.

It is good to know, Thank You.

I have also heard that on one side or the other of the booklet pane of stamps the outer selvedge (selvage) is wider or narrower on different booklets but I have not measured mine yet.

New Numbers added to list! 126 numbers now!

By Timbres?

I think that is just the way he scanned them and was showing the perf hole location compared to the 6-digit numbers.

Thanks Moonbird. I assume these are with NO marks on the face or back of the booklets? Also, since these numbers are close to user Timbres number where he found an offset printing, could you check the backs of the stamps to see if they have anything on the reverse please?

List now updated on Page 5 Page 1 of this thread. Total numbers 139.
Updated database sent to Bee See.

I also have a couple of booklet with serial numbers, I can send you the number's if you want. I'm also still looking for the "elusive" blue 1 with the serial number. As anynone Called CP and asked if they can be bought directly trough them?

Hi MineSweeper, welcome!

If you would like to post the numbers here I will add them to the list.

Please let me know if they are on the lower or upper margin of the selvedge, if there is any mark of the front of the booklet, light, medium or dark, if there is any Blue 1 or 2 also on the selvedge, and where in Canada (town, province) they are from.

Oh, look to see if the back of the stamps have any extra ink on them and let me know that also. And any other feature you may have noticed that we haven't. Thanks.

I have not called Canada Post in Antigonish (Philatelic Centre) but I would imagine that they may just say, well, we have some booklets (if they have any) and we cannot distinguish between what you may get or not get from us.

I myself do not have any extra Blue 1's with numbers but perhaps others may. You do need 50 posts to buy, trade or sell on SCF here however. Or use the SCF email feature too.

I have been very lazy over the summer with these. I want to check out the size of left and right-hand selvedges to see if there is any differences or similarities (widths in millimetres), and also to have a look at the placement of the numbers, to see if there is any pattern there, regards to how high or low the numbers are placed on the selvedge (as per Timbres post above).
