I have three questions about this SS

1) It is described in Scott after #2926, but it has no number. Does anyone know why

2) There seem to be 2 varieties, one where the top ray of the star above the hammer is symmetric (per this example) and one where it is offset to the right and a bit crooked. Are they both genuine or is one a fake? Both are selling on ebay.

3) I received this SS in a box lot. I do not collect Russia. Is anyone interested in acquiring this SS. It is MNH. If yes send me an email

Both star varieties are genuine. Zagorsky lists them as Block 36I (top star point symmetrical) and Block 36II (top star point non-symmetrical). No idea why Scott does not assign a catalog number. Michel lists the green sheet as Block 33.

Thank you Rogdcam. I surmised with your relatively recent switch to collecting Russia, that you would know the answer. -david
