Issued 25-03-1959 and 28-03-1959, respectively. Michel nrs. Bulgaria 1101 and 1102, respectively. Considering you are from Belarus, you should be able to understand the Cyrillics on the stamps. |

The brown stamp commemorates Youth Football Tournament. The second stamp commemorates The 40th Anniversary of Ski Sports in Bulgaria. |

Thanks to everyone, who replied my question. In addition, is anybody can explain, what does "NR" letters mean in "NR BULGARIA" print at the bottom of the stamp? As I know Bulgaria is a republic and officially it Republic of Bulgaria, like a Republic of Belarus. |

NR Bulgaria stands for "Narodna Republika Bulgaria" means "People Republic of Bulgaria", the name of the country from 1946 to 1990. |

Isn't there an 's' in the Belarussian word: i.e., it also is spelled respublika? Unlike Belarussian, the Bulgarian word is not spelled respublika, but republika, so no 's' there when pronounced. |

Let me explain some featuers.. When I speak in belarusian, I also say "Respublika Belarus", but if I speak in english I must say "Republic of Belarus" for Belarus explanation. In bulgarian, for my mind, it will be pronounced like "Republika" for meaning of the word Republic.
