The research that I did on 10 mark with 30 Tausand overprint didn't turn up and stamp blocks for this series. Has anyone seen a sheet or partial sheet/block of this series? Thanks!

It is a part counter sheet. Most of these stamps are readily available, even in multiples. Inflation was so high the stamp no longer paid carriage when you had stuck it on an envelope.

By the way: Tausend, not Tausand.

Try searching images for "bogen deutsches reich briefmarken 1923."

Years ago the stamps sold for 1 cents each if you buy a full sheet so with margin marking and being MNH it was still one cent . Today those stamps sell in mixtures for around 5 cents each . Millions of those inflations sheets came into the U.S. after WWII . I purchased about 50 sheets from a dealer around 1970 .

I did make money on them because of the rare shades that I found . But those German inflation stamps even today are everywhere , at 5 cents each you will run out of money before I run out of German Inflation stamps .The reason I have so many because the stamp auction firms have a habit of throwing in a mint sheet file folder full of sheets of German Inflation stamps into those large worldwide lots that they sell at auction .

I have had piles of sheets of these inflation era wallpaper stamps that were filler in bulk lots. They look cool but have no value. People might freak but I threw them in the dumpster.

If you have a German specialized catalog, it's fun to look for varieties and "flyspecks" on these sheets.

Here is a good site for some examples, (Old and new)
