I have started sorting out the earlier issues of Poland and although I did have in mind that there were paper variations, I did not realize the headache that the perforations were going to be. An example is the 1919 'Issues for Southern Poland' - Austrian currency. Stanley Gibbons' 'Poland 1st edition', lists perforations for this issue as 10-11.5 and compound. If I understand correctly, does this mean that any single stamp can have four different perforations in the 10-11.5 range? Does Michel perhaps have a more detailed listing or is there perhaps another referance work that may have more detail outlining these issues and later issues for that matter; it seems that compound perforations were used up to 1926? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
