Hi there,
My kids and I are helping sort my Dad's stamps out. He has a wide collection and hasn't really done any work on it since the 70's.

We have a big lighthouse album for loose leaf and are slowly getting them all in for him to give back to him at Christmas.

In the meantime, I may have developed a slight obsession with sorting stamps and looking for variations. I purchased a bulk lot from someone and have found some interesting stamps that seem to have some differences.

I was wondering if the printing on the back of this red 2 penny KGV Australian stamp is part of the stamp of has been printed after? It seems to be embedded. Can anyone identify what it is?

Thanks so much!

Of course.

It Reads

"Tatter-
Sall"

For Tattersall's Lottery Tickets , mainly found on the back of King George V 2d Reds.
