I noticed that this Italy 1889 issue Scott # 53 stamp is printed on very thin paper. It's almost transparent. Is this the type of paper they used regularly for this denomination ?
Other Italy stamps in my collection from the same yare are on more thicker paper and are not transparent. Could this one be on Pelure paper ?

Checked some of my stamps from that series and they range from that thin paper to a medium paper (more common). Sassone catalogue does not mention paper types specifically for that issue.
