Good/Recommended Source Of Canadian Perfins?

I'm relatively new to stamp collecting. I've looked at a number of online sites and can't find any with a really good selection of Cdn Perfins. Can you recommend a good source online or where do you get your perfins?

P.S., Looking at the warning in this year's Unitrade catalog, do you think I should avoid 5-pin Perfins altogether?

to the Perfin study group and its newsletter. That should provide you with hours of useful reading, background and research material from the top experts on this field.

If by 5 pin perfins you mean the O.H.M.S. 5 pin compared to the 4 pin, then yes you should be careful. These have widely been faked and usually command a high price. So there is information available on how to try and detect the fakes on the BNAPS site.

Are you primarily interested in OHMS perfins, or private perfins, or both?

I enter Canada perfin into ebay and get 882 hits. Not a bad place to start.

Helpful hint: To maximize views of this thread and to make it more findable in the weeks to come, you may want to consider an editing of the title to include either Canada or Canadian, rather than the abbreviation Cdn, which has minimal meaning to many, and would certainly not be a common search term to use if trying to relocate this thread.
