If anyone could help me identify which country this stamp is from, and perhaps even the year it was issued, I would be very grateful.
I believe there to be the Persian Lion in the middle, but the overprint makes it difficult for me to be sure.
Since I do not have a catalogue for Iranian stamps I was only able to check the online-catalogue, and didn't find it there.

Does anyone have an idea? Thank you!

EDIT: If you cannot see the picture please let me know. I can't see it myself. Unfortunately, I am very new here.

Hmm, I can imbed pictures from other websites (like Wikipedia) but when I upload one it doesn't get displayed. I wonder if that's the case because my name contains a space character that interrupts the path.

It's because of the period, I removed it. Be sure to remember that next time you log in.

Iran.
Without the "Postes Persanes" and value tablets,
we may conclude this is a revenue stamp ?

Thank you, @bobby131313, for solving my issue! I very much appreciate it.

Also thank you, rod222, for the information. Knowing that it's from Iran around 1928 is already a good start. My stamp has a different overprint, I wonder what it says.

Is the stamp on piece or on entire envelope/document. If there is more then just a piece of blank paper it is on, maybe it will help if you show the entire piece.

The stamp is on a letter, though I am not sure how that helps. This is all the text that there is:

Definitely a revenue stamp. It appears to be #R4149h, Ministry of Justice, part of set 10.3 shown on page 341 of The Revenue Stamps of Iran, Volume 1, Qajar Issues, 3rd ed. by Sasan Baharaeen and Gordon Brooks, published in 2019.

Listed value is $15 on document.

Thanks a lot! Sadly I have no access to that book but the "sample pages" on the internet suggest that it contains information about the overprint.
Is it possible that you could find out what is printed upon this stamp, please?
