KGV 1937 Coil Strip Indentations

Looking at this MNH** strip of KGV 1937 2c coil (Sc 239), noticed two indentations, one each at the top of the middle two stamps of the strip.

Have not seen this before on this coil set, so not sure whether it is coincidence, or part of a production process for the coil (as they are evenly spaced and similar in shape/size).

Anyone familiar with this? thanks, Greg
