Evening all - this seems to be the last part of a longer name. Believe it is BAYHURST but this isn't in the LAC databases. Any opinions greatly appreciated.

Possibly St. Samuel de Gayhurst (Quebec). A postoffice from 1879 on.

Good evening!

I've seen a few times LAC being mentioned. What is is exactly? If it's the Library and Archives Canada, what do I look for in order to identify partial cancels? I've tried a few key words but haven't found anything relevant!

Thanks for your help!

Thanks Jan - I think this is the one! Appreciate your response. Do you have access to literature that lists cancel/postmarks?
