floortrader, I just want to say how much I enjoy your posts of completed pages and full sets. I have only a smattering of singles and partial sets in my worldwide collection, so it is nice to see these full sets, nicely presented, of colors and denominations that I have never seen before. |

As many of the members here already know Cinderella Stamps is a part of my stamp collection .So I will be show some of the stuff you rarely see . I hope you also enjoy it . These are all forgeries of real stamps that were made in limited amounts . |

These German local stamps were made to fill the albums that were previous made for the stamps after they realized there was not enough real stamps to fill the demand especially for the foreign market . |

A stupid and true fact about worldwide stamp collecting . Did you know my collection is bigger and more extensive than any worldwide collection in history That is true ! Before you choke on that coffee your drinking . Think how many NEW countries have been created in the pass 50 years and how many of those great stamp collectors were long gone . Nobody is going down this path or if there are a few , nobody is claiming this fact . This is not just "a stamp from every country " but album pages with sets of stamps . Here is a sample of the type of effort I am making to stay on this path of a extensive collection ,usually don't create many album pages of all these modern countries but try to have something . See what worthless information you got today . LOL . |

floortrader, Surely you have one of the greatest most comprehensive WW collections. Your competition might be the Royal British collection and Sundman from Mystic if I recall in a past article.
There should be a hall of fame for WW collections. |

The subject of "biggest " collection needs to have a explanation with the wording of "BIGGEST " if you go to Google and type that in you get interesting outlook . You will get two stories ,one a person in India has a 50,000 stamp collection but if you look at many different U.S. stamps auctions you can see every years much larger collections being sold than that claim of 50,000 .
The second again is a Indian guy in Africa who claims the biggest with a value of 6-8 million dollars of value and all he got is modern wallpaper , with about 15,000 China stamps . First someone needs to tell him four or five large purchases of China stamps will exceed him and second , somebody needs to tell him all that modern stuff he has really sells at 2 cents each and that is a long way from 6-8 million dollars worth .
Then one collection that has been posted here and all over the internet is not a collection ,unless you are calling pictures of many people's collection as the U.S. largest collection ,so are you calling computer scans a persons collection . Besides the so call owner has be on Social Sercurity disabilities for 20 years ,not really a possibility of buying hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of stamps .
Then we get a lot of clowns who claim crazy numbers for their collection all the time but nobody seen their stuff . Then nobody in the auction business knowns them .
The Royal collection is handled by a staff of three full time people who handle everything else included in the Royal Treasure holdings .This full time staff gets all their stamps direct from the printer firm not from the stamp trade . . Mystic may have the best collection of stamps but that is a company with a staff not a personal collection . |

Thanks for the positive comments .
Believe new collectors or those starting out can understand how diverse a worldwide collection can be .Thanks to the Steiner pages even new collectors can have the same pages as a experience collector . How different this is to when I started with a 25 cent album then a few years and I advance up to a $1.00 album twice the size . Then later even up to a "big" album which cost $4.50 for a advance collections . |

I doubt that I have 5000 stamps in my collection - not counting the unsorted/ unmounted accumulation, but I'm kinda proud of my collection of the Americana Series of U.S. stamps. It consists (so far) of 532 OG,MNH stamps and their varieties and 3 used stamps (one of which has not been found "un-used"). Since the BEP over-printed the Bureau and "national" style precancels - mostly on the same production "run", I consider them as "face different" varieties - that's why there's such a relatively high number in my collection. The way I collect them means I still have about 110 more to acquire. There's one that will most probably keep me from completing the collection. |
