@Harper -- gorgeous pages. Thanks for sharing! Is there one page per country? How many pages total? Would love to see more.

This is a important set of any INDIA collector . The low value the 1 1/2 a. spend too many years in a glassine envelope . When seperating them the gum from a top stamp pulled off some of the brown ink . So now looking for a better MNH copy . This Gandhi set is a key to all collectors of the country . |

This along with floortrader's pages really makes this the best thread on the whole site. I am doing something similar myself. Rather than collect every stamp in the world ever printed, a representative. I do have country collections though ala Dr. Chen. Still this thread will be read forever. book it. |

Greendragon -Thanks . It is the message these pages sends to all the new readers and new collectors who read these pages . It is for the 100+ non-members who read this page or come here each day . . Trying to show them what can be done with a stamp collection . Like this page below . It took me less than a hour to make ,the page and mounting was less than $1.00 and cost of the stamps less than $2.00 . So showing something I am proud of and the total cost less than $3.00 . |

The journey of building a worldwide collection is not a short time approach . My goal has always been to see how far I can go . Redid this page to add a few more stamps today . |

Nice page floortrader. I was wondering what type of paper you use for your pages? |

Harper1249, nice pages. Those flags and seals are likely from the Scott International album series - the albums included spaces for them, and you could purchase them separately and stick them in. The gazetteer information is also in the Scott style, but with updated population stats. Love the maps, too! |

RTURN 22 --- I use 20lb pastel,creme paper now from Staples .
Years ago I started with International Paper 24lb Ivory paper, it was the best but they quit making it or Office Depot in Chicago quit selling it .
This year I found at Staples they have Southworth Ivory 24 lbs paper ,so hoping to try it ,it is twice the price at $29.19 a box .
The lesson I learned is that if you find a good paper stock , then buy a lot and keep a inventory of that type of paper . Because these Paper Companies and the retail stores change their product over time . Plus all the paper that I been using all increase their prices if there is a good demand for the product .
My next step is if I like the paper ,the 24lb Southworth paper ,I plan to buy it by the case ,both saving money by the case and guarenteeing my albums will have the same paper . I still have the problem of albums printed 13 years ago will have different color pages ,some ivory and some creme color ,not a problem when I scan pages to show here but would of liked it to be all the same . |

On the question of acid-free or safe paper .
I don't need it if the house has air conditioning . I have Scott Internationals and other albums which have stamps in albums from the 1920's and see no problem . My house also has back up for humitiy and power outages |
