Nothing beats expertising stamps than having your own reference examples ,here are two fakes with the center stamp being real . |

I don't collect stamps this recent but sometimes they are included when I purchase a box lot or album . If it is a nice complete set then I will print out the album page and mount it . |

floortrader what year does your collection stop at? I find it hard to make a year cut off. I just made it to 125K different. Took me 10 years to get to 100K and other 8 to get the next 25K |

Landoquakes --- Like to break that question down to two parts .
First - I try to limit my purchases to pre-1970 stamps and items .
Second -- I like most collectors who limit their time frame ,always pick up more recent items ,sort of it comes along with the purchase . Any collector who has the Steiner album page making software can make close to updated /current pages . So if it cost me less than one dollar to print and mount those more recent issues ,it just becomes fun to add those to one's collection . Kind of it cost me nothing to add a extra page . I am sure any other collector understands it . Now I don't do that for one or two stamps but for a complete set {like above} ,then it is a fun project . |

Keep 'em coming Paul. Just because I, for example, don't comment each time I am still greatly enjoying seeing your collection. |

Great to see the Guatemala page. My Big Blue only has half the spaces but still a couple of them are empty. Not many full Latin America pages in most WW collections.

Thanks for the positive comments ,glad I found my latest interest in worldwide stamp collecting,it gets a good respond here .
Some of the long term posters here have seen me go thru different phases of collecting thru the past 15 years . Got into Cinderella stamps for a while because a philatelic friend passed away who was the "expert " in the field and his collection came up thru the auction houses . Then it was a stamp from every country , then it was German Colonies ,then it was Japanese Occupation of the Dutch Indies , then it was Fakes and Forgeries .
So you can bet my interest in complete sets on album pages will also run out and something new will come along . |

This will make you cry . The easy way to mount stamps -------- Lay the stamps on a album page ,then pull a 3 inch or 4 inch piece of Scotch tape across all the stamp . That will keep them FOREVER in place . |
