Found a posting on the subject Postal Strike, but could not pick up on it as it was over 9 years old….interesting reading, however, I got the following in another job lot I purchased along with some other stamps, etc and just wondered if there is a catalogue covering them now. Are they worthless ?

If ebay is any word on the matter they're worth something --not a fortune but not a pittance. They're similar in value with GB postal strike and the like I'd say. I personally collect strike material as I love Cinderellas but they're not for everyone

the Canada cinderella catalogue provides good info on these. See https://www.birdbearpress.com/ and look for the Lafreniere book. The table of content has a specific section on Canada stamp strike.

Yes you can, just add on to the bottom of the thread
Always adding new threads creates entropy.

I have the catalogue, but I collect for enjoyment, not for fortune hunting.

There is a reference catalog, STRIKE, COURIER AND LOCAL POST OF THE ELIZABETHAN ERA, Second Edition 1992. Editor Earle L. Covert MD. Printed by: Territorial Quick Print Inc. Box 1070, Hay River, N.W.T., Canada. I don't know where you might find one but it list a great many others besides the ones pictured above.

Thanks for that extensive reference
I'll keep an eye out for that,
I still consider Bird Bear press the "go to" thus far.

As far as values, ebay would be the best reference.

Wow! I just went to order it ($6)
went to checkout
Postage $66.46

Needless to say..........

Fortune Hunting….that's a laugh….most collectors I know, spend money, not make money, including myself.
It's just a case of selling what you don't like to fund the buying of what you do like.
Thanks for responses
