This looks like Scott UX27, but Scott Specialized specifically lists the card size as 140x82mm, while this card is 127x76mm, which I can't locate. Any ideas?

Your card is still a UX27. This card (and others over the years) was made available to the pubic (and printers in particular) in press sheets for convenience of bulk printing. The users then cut the printed cards and mailed them. Thus the size may vary considerably from a pre-cut card bought over a PO counter.

This is also how many of the pseudo-miscut errors are created with postal cards. Here is a sheet of UX27. Grab your scissors and pick a size, any size!

John, thanks for that insight! It's odd that Scott specifies a size when you clearly show the size can vary dramatically.

Scott gives the size of a standard single card as sold over the PO counter, rather than what any private buyer might do later.
Imo, the Scott Specialized catalog should always be viewed as a "semi-specialized" catalog and the various publications of the specialty societies like the United Postal Stationery Society be used for the next level of detail (and even more-so with the embossed envelopes).

Sometimes the cutting of the cards got pretty creative. :-)

Thanks for that insight, John. I find it very difficult to determine classic postal envelope colors. They certainly don't look similar to the Postal envelope color examples I have seen:

Perhaps there is a better source?
