New to me, hoping someone can assist me in identifying this BOB stamp?
Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Hi Don,
Bavaria.
Mutilated Stationery Fragment
from Postcard

I jog my memory with these with "Harlequin"
They had stumped me in the past

This is a good lesson learned for me, I am working through a lot of stamps mostly mounted in Vario pages. I typically scan a page and work off the scanned images to do my discovery.

In this case, if I had simply taken the stamp out and examined it by eye I would have immediately seen the thick stock and understood it to be from a postal card.
Doh on me. Thank you everyone, sorry I failed at my own discovery.
Don

That's not a failure Don, just a routine lesson,
probably never happen again.

Exactly how I do it also.
I work after PostmasterGS stamp fix
That way I can note any peculiarities of an issue, before placing in "duplicates"

eg US microprints, date sizes etc.
