This also looks interesting
The "h" looks like an "r"

If we're looking at the cancel I'd say it looks like a parcel cancel of some type.

Bobby
If we assume on the right hand side - the letters "a I d" reflect paid
The interesting thing is coming up with the left hand side.
Assuming it's "paid" - it looks like it goes numerical

Common on ALL King George V Sidefaces
See the die engraved by De La Rue. (Engraver R. Pearce)

Hi Paul,
I looked at Brusden White 3d multiple crown CofA (2007 ed)
Nothing listed there.

Just be aware Pmks can make fools of us all, there may be ink
confusing the appearance.
A consistant flaw like that would surely be identified.

As far as you Pmks on the 3d, never seen anything like it in 20 years
May I have permission to send it to colleagues?

I have 1,500 King GeorgeV Sidefaces, all sorts of parcel Pmks
but nothing like yours.

The left hand letters maybe parcELS 2 text? who knows?

Rod
Agree - totally odd block
Permission ok
In relation to the the "h" being an "r" - I see too much white to involve postmark confusion.
But my eyesight is doubtful- maybe I'm seeing things
I have spent a lot of time trying to be be correct/ precise today and asked for young persons eyesight contribution before posting
Regards
Paul

That's correct Rod222.
The number 2 was probably the roller canceller number.
