Interesting to see two cancelled stamps that have not been tied to the envelope. The cancels have 1913 and 1914 dates that do not appear to have anything to do with the issue date.
These look like fantasy items. Has someone used two nicely cancelled stamps and glued them on an envelope? |

The frame before "S" in Australia on the "51" also looks odd - comparing the two stamps |

The covers shown in the first two images are pure confection. The extract from same, in the third image, likewise.
1c what? Why look for things that aren't there in the first place?

Bobby Agree with your first comment Regarding the 3rd image - well it's just an observation! You're probably absolutely right and there is nothing there but a postmark flutter. I just thought I would point out and ask.

Quote: This also caught my attention. Not sure what to make of it. 1 c ??? And how can we make something of it with such a poor scan? It is so frustrating when people want ID on stamps, and they offer up out of focus or tiny images. How hard is it to get an image clear enough for inspection? C'mon guys! |

Solved Wesley Cachet Service Usually great cachets, but this Kangaroo cover is not one of them in my opinion.

Rod is right, I have no idea of what it is I'm supposed to be looking for in the 3rd picture. |

The d in the value tablet looks like a c, probably because the '7' in the date covers the vertical stroke in the d. It creates an optical illusion of an open loop of the c. |

Exactly, an closer scan / image of the stamp would have shown that clearly. Confiming the old chestnut, "Postmarks can make fools of us all " The conundrum is, asking for better images, you risk offending the poster, leave it be, and we are continually going to receive poor images, that are no benefit to the poster or the respondent, or philately. |
