Gee, this morning I am a grumpy lump.
Misplacing my car keys was not a good start.

I get an email from ebay Friday, encouraging me to provide feedback,
I cannot, as I have not received goods.

Today I get the stamps,
I go to my account and "Awaiting Feedback" has disappeared

I find the lot, and click on "More actions" and all I have is "Contact seller"

Anybody else suffering the same results?

I am in the USA on the USA version. On my listing page the box where you would input your bid and then click is not there. Only the Bid button. When I click that I get sent to a popup to increase my bid when I can then actually bid. However there once you bid it is your bid, there is no second step to review for errors in the bid.

I saw no option available to complain about ebay interface.

I have passed my problem on ebay generated "what do you think of our Summary ?" questionaire.

Looking at the Spanish site, I can go to the details of the order. There is a 'more actions' button next to each item in the order. Clicking on it shows a list that includes the 'feedback' option.

Thanks NSK That solved it
albeit I had to sign on for ebay again.

Why, after 12 years they have to change things, apparently for the worst, I wonder.

They appear to be changing the layout quite regularly, now. It does not always make it easier to navigate.

Yes Rod, the My Summary page layout has changed for me, yet again, to nobody's benefit, except the programmers who are no doubt trying to justify their exorbitant salaries.

I'm down to one search now on ebay, and it's not even to do with stamps!

Thanks for confirming that, Bobby.
I relied heavily on "Awaiting Feedback", I always try and do the right thing
and give accurate feedback, sometimes they slipped the memory.

Exactly! This started for me a few weeks ago. I complained via the "tell us what you think" link and it was fixed a few days later but then broke again last week. (Safari on Mac, but Chrome still has it the old way).

I want the confirmation screen back. Without it, I once entered a snipe bid at the last second for $555 when I meant to type $5.55, and I had no chance to correct my error.

Regarding feedback, I use the feedback summary screen instead of using the Leave Feedback button on each individual item. Much quicker when I have a couple of weeks of random purchases to leave feedback for.

I have refused to use the ebay feedback marketing tool for years. I am not here to help ebay make additional sales by giving buyer false confidence in a badly flawed feedback system that is stacked to help ebay profits. I do often take the time to send ebay sellers private messages when I have a good buying experience.

One annoying change I've noticed lately is that the mobile app won't allow you to make edits to a listing if the quantity is 0. I sell multiples of the same item and update available quantities as necessary. I use the "out of stock" feature so listings don't end if the qty drops to 0, they just show up as "out of stock" to any prospective buyers. Anyway, I almost always update quantities via the mobile app from my phone since my stamp desk isn't near a computer. I've never had a problem with this, no matter the current available quantity, from 0 on up.

Starting just within the past few days, however, I can no longer edit quantities (or anything else) if the available qty is 0. Qty 1 or more is business as usual, but I have to go to a computer* to make any changes to a listing if it's out of stock. Not the end of the world, but it's annoying as heck since I update quantities almost daily.

*Yes I know I could log in to the website via a browser on my phone, but that's a pain as well, for a lot of reasons. Just let me edit the dang listing from the mobile app regardless of whether it's in stock or not. Is that too much to ask?

Not sure if it is I, but the latest ebay pictures are small and greyish, without means on some, to see up close.
( ebay Australia)

All round a horrible experience, I had to quit.
They appear to have not understood the chestnut "sell the sizzle, not the steak"

Going to mosey over to Hipstamp, see what's happening there.

Me too Rod. Unfortunately there's no serious competition for stamps against ebay. I've never bought anything from hipstamp, and have purchased very very little from delcampe in the last couple of years.

Again, thanks for the confirmation Bobby,
Truly an ugly change,
I have bought from Hipstamp 3-4 years ago, all went extremely smoothly
Not many problems, prior, with ebay.

I was using it mostly, searching for the irregular,
today was the "Main Parcel Co" of Manchester.

Now I have to rely on Google, ebay was so bad, I just could not endure it.

Don,

I know you have mentioned in the past that a bad ebay seller can have 100% positive feedback because of the flawed system. What is your opinion on ebay stamp sellers that have a low % feedback ratio (e.g. only 1/3rd of buyers leave feedback for their purchases) but with 0 revised feedback? Do you think this is suspicious or not?

From my personal experience, as a buyer, I personally leave feedback for a seller because I want to complement them and genuinely communicate to other potential customers they provide good service and the product is a described. I do so over 90% of the time. The other 10% of the time I have simply forgotten to.

As a very casual seller of household goods taking up space in my closets, only about 50% of my buyers leave me any feedback (so far all positive). Don't know if this is average, above average or below average?
