Please, try to read what you post. It is very difficult to follow your posts.
This is your second post where a lady swore the overprinted stamp is real but then you question it. Are the prices at which you are buying them too good to be true?
According to the unmentionable site: Overprinted 'Air Mail DE PINEDO 1927' 300 printed!!!! |

The lack of an impression seen from the back would make me look for the method used to apply this overprint. There are differences in the overprints.
I, however, cannot help think there is an element of treasure hunting at play. |

Ah, I think I understand better now. Some "lady" sold the OP a very rare stamp that has a SCV of $100,000 in mint condition but no certificate. A story as old as time. Could it be fake? What would the odds of that be? Of course it is fake. The question does not even need to be asked. |

This seller has the same font/font color as the one last week shipping from Greece, quite a coincidence. But none-the-less, look at the 'sold' stamps shown here, they are all the exact same stamp. Of course using a stock image might be common but putting in the description "You will receive the stamp in the photograph" seems deceptive. Don |

Gibbons says 300 were overprinted and 230 of those were used, with 4 more destroyed, leaving, at most, 66 mint copies.
The pilot was attempting to fly to Rome. He had engine trouble and had to land on the ocean. He was found, and his seaplane, Santa Maria II, was towed to the Azores, where he was able to make repairs and finish his flight.
Jvpool, can we make something good come of this by having you use the strongest magnification you have to see what you can tell us about the printing method? I'm wondering how these reproductions are being created. |

Quote: Forums like ours, are going to be answering questions like these for years ahead. Agreed, but not just forums but also consider the amount of time wasted by dealers and others running up on these modern creations. Imagine the amount of disappointment and frustration towards our hobby by family members and other non-collectors who might find themselves owners any time in the future. It is a free marketplace; people can make and sell these things as they like, and they are within ebay's rules by marking them as reproductions in the listings. But what is so hard on marking them a reproduction on the back of each stamp (if the producer is already printing them)? Or at least buy a damn rubber stamp. Geez. Don |

I suggest you stop buying what seem to be expensive stamps for cheap prices. If your reading skills are as poor as the writing skills shown here on SCF, you are missing information that says what you are buying is fake.
You are not going to make money buying the stuff, you will just be loosing money on worthless pretty pictures on paper which are not stamps.
Sadly I realize you likely will not understand my post.
The word "REPRODUCTION" means the item is FAKE, NOT REAL.
Two saying come to mind:
Ignorance is bliss.
A fool and his money are soon parted.
Yes a real buzz kill on 4-20.
