A few more.























The last card from Point Arena used a "Rec'd" postmark to cancel the stamp. This is an earlier use of a receiver to cancel outgoing mail.
John Williams' California Town Postmarks 1850-1935 records as Men- 3030 a larger receiver (1 Circle 31.5 mm 10L) as used on 13 Apr 1910.
The postmark on the card above is 1C(ircle) 28mm 7L. Since it is an earlier use, I refer to it as Men-3025.
The L measurement is the distance from the first letter of the Town (bottom of the P) to the nearest point of the first letter of the State ( top of the C).
