For those who want to see a humongous quantity of collections take a look at Arthur Goten MD article in Kellehers 'Stamp Collectors Quarterly' 2nd quarter 2023, page 37.

I don't have an image as I don't know how to get a link and a phone photo doesn't come out too good.

That is a photo of a freight handling company in Danzig ,Poland . It is being used by a company from Minnesota in their stamp ad on Ebay . Has nothing to do with stamps . It was used by two or three sellers on EBAY over the years to show "their inventory " .

I think that doing a reverse image search is an important 'tool' in anyone's online abilities. Uploading an image and then searching to see if that image is posted in other places online is not just handy for checking legitimacy, but also great for IDing stamps.
https://stampsmarter.org/learning/H...eSearch.html
and this
https://stampsmarter.org/learning/Home_HowTo.html (click on "How To Do An Image Search" video on top row)

Additionally and depending upon your browser, you can now also right click on floortrader's posted image above and select "Search the web for the image" and see that this image is posted on other websites.

Thanks Don (51studebaker) and floortrader for pointing out the error.

Don, I went to links provided in posts. But as I am not computer savvy at all, I was lost at 1st step in the reverse image search tool, 'upload image to desktop'. I'm way behind on being comfortable with online searching, uploading and downloading stuff, so I tend avoid it. But I have used stampsmarter for simple searches.

Floortrader, last time I took a punch to head was 60+ yrs ago when I was 10, sticking up for my younger brother of 8. Today one punch and I'd be out cold. So, you're doing good floortrader.

Jim

Who's going to tell the author/Kelleher that the caption isn't just misleading, but plainly wrong?

In Edge you can right click on the image and click "visual search". Does a great job.

Classic Paper ----- I had to read that article in the Kelleher magazine again today . There was some good points about worldwide collecting but there was too much going off into other areas that confuse the reader . I guess the editing job of the article is at fault and didn't research what the author put on paper .

The original larger image is Reuters and is copyrighted. Someone has cropped it down and re-used it. I assume that Reuters might not be pleased that their copyright notice has been cropped out and the image used for commercial purposes. Although I suppose there is a chance that the author or publishers got permission/paid for the image usage.

I love this picture- it's taken from the Downtown Stamp Company website, an old-fashioned wants list and approvals dealer who is still very active and vibrant. They also list some inventory on HipStamp. The file cabinets shown apparently hold 900 stock books and 150 file drawers of inventory accumulated over 90+ years. I have been doing business with them since the 1980s.

So how do you contact the people that put together Kelleher's quarterly stamp magazine. In addition to the fraudulent image discussed above, on page 71 they misidentify the African antelope called a Bongo as an Okapi, and the Bongo is annoyed.
