I'm finally embarking on a decade-in-the-making project of organizing and mounting hundreds of full sheets and the accompanying singles, errors, progressive proofs and other examples of the whole range of Canadian Christmas Seals.

I am very interested in hearing how others mount their full sheets of these. I have before me some obvious choices, like Vario sheets, or three-hole plastic sheets for page inserts.

What materials do you use? If anyone has images to share, that woudl be great!

Peter

Peter, what size are the sheets? Are they a similar size to stamp sheets or are they pane-size?

Personally, When it comes to full sheets of any stamps, I prefer to buy a sheet protector. These can be found at any office supply store and you can get about a hundred for around $20-$25. What it does is cover the whole sheet and on the ends it has holes to place in a binder for safe keeping. You can also pick up backer boards to keep it from bending. Hope this helps

Thanks for the responses.

The sheets vary in size, not unlike postage stamp panes these days, especially when selvedge is used to provide extra information and graphics.

I have been using top-loading, three-ring-binder-style sheet protectors with backer boards. I was wondering if anyone had any innovations to offer, but it appears not to be the case, at least in this forum.

I've always used mint sheet albums to store full size panes. However, you would not be able to include the singles, as they would move around a bit.

Consumer grade sheet protectors purchased from office supply stores are not necessarily archival for stamps, even though they may say "archival". So if you use sheet protectors, always store the binder upright and don't pack the binder too tightly.
