Hi to all - specially to tonymacg

Had bought a small lot of Cochin stamps. Got this stamp in the lot.

could this be O67 or O67a .....

(using the software 'perfomaster' - the measurement shows perf 11)

Thanks in advance for your comments.

My apologies for jumping ahead of Thomas. By the way Welcome Thomas / tholath!

This is the web site : http://www.buxsoft.com/

The program is free to download, in German or English seemingly but they want your personal info in order to send you emails about further new programs etc. So this is not Freeware or Shareware.

I want to try it as I have these new Canada stamps with perfs that need extremely precise measurement and was hoping that there was a nice program out there that I could use for this purpose.

Hi rod222 and Puzzler

Sorry for the delayed response - was scanning some pics of cochins for showing "guru" tonymacg....

Puzzler has already given the details.

I am using it for some time now.

Make sure you scan with a black back ground.

Also that the dpi is 600 or 1200.

70 to 80 percent of the time it reads out the perfs.

Sometimes it mentions "Cannot calculate" if the perfs are not good.

Thanks and regards

Thomas

Easily done, I attach an A4 sheet of black artists paper
to the lid of the scanner with "Blu-Tak" (easily removed)
