Hi,

The cover is a bit perplexing:

Two 1d Ship Letter Late Fee cachets and two 1d Australia postage due labels on a cover from an address in Wellington, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia. The date on the backstamp is 5 NO 12.

The rate should have been 1d. Perhaps the addressee handed over the unfranked cover on board a ship, hence the two "SHIP LETTER / 1D / LATE FEE" cachets plus the two 1d postage due labels?

I am unsure about the two indistinct cancels on the labels.

Best wishes,
AndrewG

Perhaps it was just an overweight letter?
