Hey everyone is this an error or a possible stain contamination? Looking at the brown colour from an angle it looks to me like it's a print error, I would love some help.

Dear bicken44s

I rather think that this block was kept in an envelope for some time. The adhesive folds of the envelope tend to become greasy over time and damage the contents of these envelopes.

Best regards from Switzerland.

André

It looks to me like it could be stock book toning.
