Kelleher Collection Auction Russia Collection Bargain

Lot 699 was a Russia collection that was estimated at 10-15 thousand dollars which was ridiculously low. It sold for $29,000 plus tip. Having recently sold my Russia collection through Raritan I can tell you that the Kelleher collection would have realized well in excess of $100,000 if sold at Raritan and broken down properly. In fact, a smart person would have purchased this today and given it to Raritan to sell. Maybe they will? I am not in a position to do so or that is excatly what I would have done. My bet is that the material shows up on ebay in short order sold by either AGStamps or AFStamps.

There are bargains out there.
