Stamp ink isn't supposed to dissolve in water like that. Must be a freak.

[EDIT] On second thought, maybe my initial assessment was incorrect. I think it's a very rare waffle watermark.

Since JuJu is here, I offer this new listing of theirs, a "359" with cert for $12,000. It is most definitely not a 359 and I really would like to know what the "cert" is. The "cert" is not pictured nor any details given.

I've come to enjoy Juju's nonsense. She's sort of the court jester or town fool of this forum. I now look forward to the insanity of her posts, conclusions, and eventual ebay listings.

I have never seen anything like that in 45 years of collecting Jujustamps. I can't guess from the photo and may not know even if examining in person.

Thank you for sharing your "waffle watermark stamp."

Is this the same unused 613 they are selling on ebay? If it is why are they soaking? Their reason for solidly identifying as 613 is Harding's head is larger and the stamp is bigger than 610's. Their ebay description for the 613 follows.

Quote:
Rare #613 Harding 1923 Stamp 11 Perfs 22.5 X 19 1/4. The stamp measures 22.5 verdical and 19 1/4 horizontal. Rotary press stamp with no ink on the back. Beautiful stamp. Photo number 11 has the rare 1923 on the left, and the flat plate on the right the colors are very different. Look at the photos it's pretty simple. There are unused #613 1923 Harding stamps out there just like this one. You can totally see how much bigger Harding's head looks in the comparison photo, and the stamp also looks bigger than the #610. You can really see it. This stamp in unused condition is worth a fortune. The last 2 photos show where the black spot is looking through the stamp. The other black looking dots are tiny pieces of wood or something it's not ink. The last stamp is the #610

you can see the difference. This is on the reverse side of this stamp.

First couple of these I just laughed off. Am failing to see the humor in delusional behavior anymore though.

Yet no one has yet explained what is shown in the photo by the OP.

Edit the waffle photo has been added to the ebay listing:

The stamp was stuck to a Quadrille page at some point.

Rogdcam, I'm disappointed that you disagree with my analysis — which is correct and waaaaaay funnier.
